It is my pleasure to welcome everyone to the Oakwood Academy Charter School PTO family. Our number one priority this year is parent involvement in order to achieve the best academic and financial school year possible. We are hoping to create a strong PTO this year that will enhance our school and our community. Presently, our funds are extremely low, so we are asking full participation in the many upcoming fund-raisers. Money earned from these fund-raisers will benefit the children in many ways. We are hoping to raise money for our own playground as well as finance the Fall Festival, Spring Fling and other things in between that will be both fun and academically enriching. How can you get involved and connected? We encourage you to share your time and talents on one of our committees. We welcome volunteers and any new ideas to help make our school the best it can be for our children. We also would like to invite you to join us at the scheduled meetings. The PTO offers a chance to meet parents from all grade levels, participate in various activities, and assist with raising funds to be spent here at school. Your participation will ensure that our school continues to perform at the highest level of achievement. We will keep you advised of all current events and changes through monthly newsletters. Also, we have a website that is currently being updated and designed to improve communication between parents and school and to keep you informed of all the upcoming events.
